Bridges

Dental Bridge

A dental bridge is a device used to fill the space where a tooth has been removed.

Dr. Goldman is an expert in restorative dentistry - the repairing of mouth and teeth so that it is restored to its full health and function.

An essential part of restorative dentistry is the use of bridges to fill gaps. Dr. Goldman has many years of experience in designing and placing bridges that fit exactly. He uses crowns for the bridges that are made from durable porcelain and are aesthetically matched to your other teeth.

There are other options that can be employed instead of bridges, such as dental implants. Dr. Goldman can examine your mouth and discuss with you the merits of each option and which would work best for your teeth's condition and your budget. He offers a consultation, examination and x-rays for $59. Call 561-967-8666 to schedule an examination and discuss your options. Or click here to schedule online.

Why a Bridge?

A typical bridge consists of a pontic (a filler tooth) that is attached to two surrounding abutments (crowns). Once complete, this bridge structure is bonded into the mouth.

Gaps can cause chewing problems. If even one tooth is missing, other teeth may slowly shift out of place. This changes the way your teeth fit together. A poor bite may make your jaw sore. Your teeth may become harder to clean, leading to tooth decay and gum disease. And shifting teeth may change your smile.

You can get a $59 exam and x-rays with Dr. Goldman to see what solution will work best for your missing teeth or teeth needing extraction. Call 561-967-8666 to schedule an examination and discuss your options. Or click here to schedule online.
